NAME OF CLUB
The name of this club shall be the Yamaha Past Masters Racing Club
PURPOSE OF CLUB
The purpose of the club is to look after the interests of Yamaha Past Masters racing and racers and to promote Yamaha Past Masters racing within BMCRC and beyond.
MEMBERSHIP
Full membership shall be on a yearly (Jan-Jan) basis and will include riders who have participated in at least 3 YPM race meetings with BMCRC during that period. Members will be asked to contribute a recommended amount to be included on the mailing list. Riders who do not contribute will still be given a bulletin when they attend meetings and still be entitled to trophies but will not be given any voting rights.

QUALIFICATION AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS |

Club Officers will include Co-ordinators(to include a rider competing in full championship as well as a novice rider) , a treasurer and a Technical Officer who will continue until a replacement is voted in by ballot .People who wish to contribute time or resources should co-ordinate with them. The officers shall make their own efforts and co-ordinate the efforts of others.
Any Member may suggest a change to the co-ordinator(s) at or by the last meeting of the season. The suggestion will be put into the last race Bulletin and balloted . Changes advised in pre-season Bulletin. |

Preside over all meetings. Call special meetings. Carry out the provisions of the constitution. Record and keep accurate minutes of all meetings. Act as correspondence clerk.
Co-ordinators will make decisions on the day-to-day running of the club without ballot, other than on matters relating to Expenditure (Article X,section 2), racing regs (Article XI, section 1), this constitution and winding up of the club bank account.

Handle funds and finances for club. Keep financial records and collect dues. Pay bills and release funds as voted by the general membership. Make a full financial report at the end of each year. |

Liase with external bodies over technical matters Research and publish as appropriate technical data and information pertinent to the running of YPM machines In conjunction and liason with YPMRC Co-ordinators, has the right to inspect any YPM machine at any time without warning and not pertaining to ACU / BMCRC protest protocol. Refusal of a rider to comply in inspection could result in exclusion from results.

Impromptu meetings may be held at any race meeting that the YPMRC attends.
Minutes must be kept of all financial action by the co-ordinator(s).
An AGM will be held on the most suitable evening of the last BMCRC race meeting of the season that YPM are due to attend |

Section 1.

The advisor to the club will be the Secretary of the BMCRC who will have the final Decision in any disputes. |

RIGHT TO ACT |

Any club officer, club member does not have the right to incur any debt or become involved in any business under the title or by implying the title of a club in any way unless given full authority to do so by the club. |

ARTICLE IX |
AMENDMENTS TO CONSTITUTION |

Matters for ballot will be included in a voting sheet in the end of year Bulletin which members will fill in and return if they wish to vote. A rider who does not vote will be considered to have voted against any change to the racing regs, the constitution, expenditure,or winding up the bank account(s) where a 66% majority of all eligible riders is required. A failure to vote will be considered an abstention in all other matters. Anyone suggesting any change which requires more than six lines of type to describe, or sketches, will provide 70 sheets with such changes / sketches on, which will then be included in the Bulletin. Ballots will only be carried out at the end of a season.. |

The riders will approve (or not) suggestions for expenditure by ballot in the same way as amendments to the constitution (Article IX). These items shall be of a general nature such as "Advertising" or "Starter packs". Any money raised will be given to the Treasurer who will keep annotated statements to account for such money. Money may be paid by the Treasurer on any item he/she thinks fit, if the riders have approved it. On a ballot of over 66% of eligible riders to close the account the balance will be paid into the BMCRC benevolent fund. The riders will be asked to contribute a recommended amount (currently £25) to be included on the mailing list. Riders who do not contribute will still be given a Bulletin when they attend meetings and still be entitled to vote and to receive trophies.
Approved items of expenditure: Race bulletin production and distribution; Advertising the series (including starter packs, literature and exhibitions); Buying and engraving trophies;.

RACING REGULATIONS |

Currently as per BMCRC Yamaha Past Masters. A member may suggest a change to the co-ordinator to these regs at or by the last meeting of the season. The suggestion will be put into the last race Bulletin and balloted (see above). Changes advised in pre-season Bulletin.

As per BMCRC race Regulations and Yamaha Past Masters Racing club a 62bhp limit has been introduced for all RD-LC and RD-YPVS machines – This will be policed throughout the racing year using Dyno facilities provided by BMCRC – The reading taken from the supplied dyno is the guide that all bikes must comply to. The clerk of the course has the final decision should a bike not comply to the regulations |
