Thanks to Wayne Bullen of Norfolkline for choosing our class to direct some sponsorship to club racing - We are very privileged when you think riders such as Carl Fogarty, Chris Walker, Troy Bayliss, Mike Spike Edwards and various endurance teams in recent years have benefited from their help -. The sponsorship involves cash prizes to the first 3 championship winners to be handed out at the dinner dance presentation and also a £25 prize to three riders based on random race position finishers for one race across each of the 10 meetings.
For those that don't know Wayne this is his opportunity to put a little back to the class that gave him years of fun - Coming back to racing in 2001 a few years after racing 250LC' s Wayne bought a TZR250 and raced for two years in New Era securing a top 4 position in 2002. 2003 saw Wayne come to Bemsee to run a full season for the first time securing a top 10 championship finish - Back for more in 2004 Wayne earnt a well deserved 3rd place in the YPM championship and second in the TZR Tour - But having hung his leathers up at the end of that year Wayne is always following the results and keeping in touch with the YPM class seeing it grow year on year - As one of the most popular classes on the grid Wayne sees no better place than to offer his sponsorship to help the class maintain its momentum.
